We do not bill insurance directly for services. Clients pay at the time of service and then submit a claim for reimbursement. We do work with your insurance company to help get your claim processed, however. If you have an HMO you are unlikely to receive reimbursement as Dr. Williams is out-of-network (although, if there are no in-network providers who offer exposure and response/ritual prevention, your HMO will typically permit you to go out of network). If you have a PPO you will likely be reimbursed. Call your insurer to find out what out-of-netwok benefits you have. Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Anthem are very good about reimbursement. United Behavioral Health requires preauthorization for certain types of visits.
When making a credit card payment, your statement will say "BEWELL" or "BEHAVIORALWELLNESS." For all services, you have the option to receive a receipt with a diagnosis code that can be submitted to your insurer for reimbursement.
Comprehensive AssessmentThis is a 2-3 hour session where you will receive an in-depth clinical interview to review all of your symptoms and provide a diagnosis and treatment recommendations. The comprehensive assessment can be conducted by telephone if necessary. You will be contacted to schedule a time for the evaluation. |
